Deutsche Post World Net promotes cultural year and EXPO
Group invests 1 million euros in German-Japanese relations
DHL is the official logistics partner of the "Germany in Japan 2005" cultural year, festively inaugurated by German Federal President Horst Köhler on April 4 in Tokyo. The express and logistics specialist in Deutsche Post World Net is rendering numerous exhibitions and concerts possible, providing transport services valued at 500,000 euros. DHL's projects include transporting musical instruments, a Marlene Dietrich exhibit and the "Design in Germany" competitive exhibition.
DHL was also named logistics partner of the German Pavilion at the recently-opened EXPO in Japan. With transport services totaling another 500,000 euros, the Group is making a significant contribution to the success of Germany's contribution to the world exposition.
